Highlights from Shedid & Parrish at Salon International 2025

Salon International had their first Textured Hair stage this year, showcasing talent from incredible stylists, all celebrating how beautiful and versatile afro textured hair is. Shedid & Parrish were honoured to be right at the heart of it all.

On Stage

Shedid & Parrish were invited onto the Textured stage to showcase how our products and looks work.  With the incredible stylist Angela Stewart, we followed a Mohican theme, with 3 models with different curl patterns sporting the style in different ways.

We had the chance to share the importance behind the ingredients and formulations we use to maximise health.   And share Angela's tips for pain free styling.

The Stand

We had the opportunity to showcase our product range too.  Nestled between two Industry giants Avlon and Design Essentials, we were able to show how are products are made and our chosen formulation.  With so many curly models walking by, we were in high demand showing how they all work.

The Team

We had the best time with an amazing team of stylists and curl enthusiasts and hair models, who all came together to help us at the show.  With so much going on we really needed the help and they were amazing! It really felt like a family coming together and I can't wait to see what we'll do next.

Industry Talks

Our founder Jessica Parrish was also invited onto the Business Live stage to join a panel talking All Things Texture with Matthew James from Spring is in the Hair, Curly Scott from BB Curls and Chris Grimley from About Fusion Hair Co. We discussed why catering for curls within the industry is not a 'nice to do' but a 'must do' for stylists, salons and specialists.  Yes it's about being inclusive, yes it's about not turning anyone away and yes it's about maximising on the commercial opportunity so that we can all thrive.
