D is for D-Panthenol : A scientific solution for getting Vitamin B5 into your curl routine.

So first things first, what is Vitamin B5 and what can it do for our curls.
Vitamin B5 is an active nutrient that when consumed, helps with nutrition, metabolism and internal health. When converted for our hair, it has the power to lock in moisture, add shine, soothe the scalp and more.
But there’s a problem, pure vitamin B5 is unstable and difficult to be used in our ingredients. So welcome D-Panthenol. Simply put when it is used in products and applied, it converts into Vitamin B5 giving us all of the benefits.
The power of D-Panthenol for Curls
Curly hair naturally loses moisture more easily than straight hair.
Every bend, twist and coil makes it harder for the scalp's natural oils to travel from root to tip, drying curls out and creating a lack lustre appearance.
This is where D-Panthenol shines.
It helps to:
✓ Strengthen & Repair
✓ Improve softness and manageability
✓ Increase Elasticity
✓ Add Weightless Volume
✓ Leave hair looking smoother and shinier
Rather than making hair feel heavy or greasy, it helps curls feel healthier, more resilient, easier to style and more voluminous.
Hydration Hydration Hydration
Curls need hydration. It’s one of the basics for curly hair and the tighter the texture the more it’s needed.
With curly hair, the outer curl cuticle can become damaged which leads to a loss of moisture. D-Panthenol coats the hair providing a protective layer and smoothing the outer cuticle. It locks in the moisture without weighing it down.
The hair is stronger, more elastic, less prone to frizz and gives the impression of volume without weighing down.
Vitality & Shine
Curly hair often has the appearance of being dull and lacklustre.
The twists and turns of curly hair can make it harder for light to reflect evenly, particularly when the outer cuticle is rough. D-Panthenol helps smooth the cuticle, leaving curls looking smoother and shinier while maintaining a lightweight feel.
Flexibility & Resilience
Healthy curls aren't just about appearance.
They're about resilience.
Hair stretches every day through brushing, washing, tying it up and simply moving around.
When hair becomes dry and brittle, it's far more likely to snap.
D-Panthenol helps improve hair’s flexibility and resilience, making curls less prone to breakage during brushing and styling.
It's not an overnight miracle but consistent use makes a noticeable difference.
Does it suit every curl type?
Simply put. Yes it does.
Whether you have fine waves, loose curls or tight Afro-textured hair D-Panthenol is for you.
It helps support moisture retention while maintaining a lightweight feel, which can be particularly useful for finer waves and curls.
It's one of those rare ingredients that genuinely works across almost every hair type.
