Beating Frizz
Frizz occurs when our hair has an insufficient amount of moisture and seeks it out in the atmosphere - ever wondered why it's worse when its humid? Its all down to the increased moisture in the air. Too small for the eye to see but not for our hair to sense.
A lack of moisture tends to be caused by using harsh ingredients such as sulphates and harsh alcohols and an inability to hold onto the moisture from products which are simply not made affectively enough for us.
Be careful of over-washing and fabrics such as cotton towels and pillowcases. They all disrupt the hair cuticle, making curls more prone to frizz.
